Oh my goodness! We had so much fun playing with smoke bombs! They were certainly tricky and took several times to get the shot which is hard when they burn for 30 seconds. Luckily we had about 16 to play with. I have to really give major props to Miss C! She went above and beyond her call of duty. We started out in pretty chilly water and then moved on to tall grass. There were more than a few occasions when I was almost certain one or both of us were going to fall. In fact our lovely assistant fell on some rocks and I almost had a heart attack thinking she may have seriously hurt herself. Luckily she was ok, not sure how her phone was though.
Miss C never complained for a second, except maybe later when her hair smelled from the smoke bombs. Ugh! The one downside is how bad these things smell. I think we learned a few things about working with the smoke bombs and I can’t wait to go out and try it again. I’m so thankful to Krista and her sister, Tracey for allowing us to use her family’s gorgeous property in Pinnacle. We saw goats, horses, cats, dogs, chickens to name a few. Both Miss C and I left the shoot with fresh eggs and gorgeous tomatoes. This shoot was certainly a win win all around.
